I am interested in having a dialogue about this article. It is a harsh critique of contemporary worship. I am sure it does not completely characterize mega-church Christianity, but it does bring up interesting objections. I grew up in a traditional, liturgical, mainline Protestant church.. I admit to being puzzled about some aspect of Evangelical Christianity – particularly the rejection of sacramentalism, but I am learning. I think this article meshes nicely with a discussion of rituals and the Church, below. What do you think about this article?
